It’s a cultural hang up.
In the olden days the”upper class” had so much dosh why would they discuss it.
The “middle class” aspired and thought it crude.
The “scum” had none, so why would they.
These days jade Goodie made more money last year than I will in the next 20 years of being a paramedic. If she brought this up in my company I’d punch the ignorant, stupid, chav, racist, ugly, bitch in the mouth.
