Q: What do libraries and supermarkets have in common?
A: When I arrive at both these places, I always find myself desperately needing to empty my bladder when I fully intended to browse round leisurely.
So, why is that?
And why don’t libraries provide toilet facilities?
Why IS that?! I always need to pee as soon as I get to the supermarket. Libraries and bookshops make me need to poo. I walk around the shop stealth farting …
I have the same thing with Stamford Bridge. But that may be the beer I drink before the game.
laughing – I’m glad I’m not the only one who does that katja
usually … in matters of “odour”… silent and odourless (when I’m at home)… in public… it always wants to draw attention to itself like a misbehaving child!
I’m surprised really that more libraries don’t offer decent toileting facilities – it must be in part a fear that people will take the books from the shelves and go s(h)it and read in the smallest room in the building; hardly hygienic… and it would probably lead to there being more toilets than shelves (not something they want to promote – it is so much more civilized sitting in those comfy chairs at the tables isn’t it?)
